    How do I increase the character limit of caption fields?

    Contour

    Hello

    I'm looking to increase the character limit of Caption fields in Contour forms from its default of 250. I've tried the following:

    • Increase column size of Caption column for table UFFieldsets
    • Increase column size of Caption column for table UFFields
    • Increase maxJsonLength in web.config

    These are based on the responses in

    Unfortunately they don't work for me (the table names in the forum post responses are also slightly different which could suggest to me that things have changed since those were posted?).

    Could I get some advice around how I increase the character limit of captions please?

    Yeah that should be it, maybe the inputs also have a maxlenght set so then simply update the form editor markup

    Yep - as it turned out all I needed to do was to expand the size of those columns and touch the web.config to make it work.
