Did you have any luck with this? It doesn't look like Contour uses a default XSLT file before sending the email.
Currently whenever we use "Send xslt transformed email" we are having to attach our new xslt file. We would like to set our file as the default option and override if needed.
Hi all im also having an issue with this, I have replaced the file as suggested but by default you still need to choose an XSLT file each time you add the extended workflow.
Otherwise without an XSLT file the deault email looks like the image below.
Is there a way to set an XSLT file as a deafult so there is no need to upload each time, or download the sample and then upload each time?
Replacing the file did the trick for me. I'm thinking it could be some sort of cache?, or maybe try restarting your app by simple touch the umbraco.config

As the title describes I want to set / change the default template for sending xslt transformed email.
The reason I want to do this is to make it easier when I create a wokflow.

Hey André, good suggestion :) guess an easy way to do this is to see where the file is stored and just overwrite it with your custom one!

What i did was what Tim said. I found the default file and overwrote it with my custom default file.
The file was located in
~/umbraco/plugins/umbracoContour/files/XsltEmail/sendXsltEmailSampleAdv.xslt
