    Search External Database with Contour

    Does anyone know if it is possible to use Contour to query an external database and return the results?

    I am trying to include a phonebook search in a project I am working on.  So far I have managed to connect with the phonebook SQL database using Contour and select the fields from the table I want to use as search parameters.

    Hey Dominic,

    Contour is for data collection not for searching data sources, better look at examine then http://umbraco.com/follow-us/blog-archive/2011/9/16/examining-examine.aspx
