    Default value in prevalue

Is there a way to set a default value on a dropdown with a prevalue set?

    Hi Amir,

Way you do it, is by write the value in the default value field. So if you have a prevalue called Option1 then just add Option1 in the default value.

I have made screenshot, so it easier to understand.

I have added some test prevalue data like this:

To set the default value on a dropdown:

On the site it looks like this when I preview the form i Contour:

I hope this will work for you too, on the Contour version you´re using. I have tested it on a version 3.0.18

Hi Dennis, this works fine when you add the values directly to the field, but with using an external datasource for prevalues.

    Hi Amir,

Actually the first url @Dennis posted should work. I have this set up on some of my website using contour.

This is a pretty nice feature and working with 3.0.12 pretty much the same as older version but if am not mistaken it has been improved.

For me I have SQL Database and Values from Textfile working.
