    Performance update

    Hi,

    I have a site which will potentially use Contour very heavily. I wondered if/when the recent performance tweaks from Mayfly Media would make it into the final product? The blog post linked suggests these improvements are in the nightlies - but presumably these are nightlies of the commercial core, hence we can't get them yet, right?

    Hi Dan,

    I'm currently in the process of evaluating contour to replace our corporate eforms system (achieve forms) which costs about £5500 a year in support.  We have about 100 forms of various complexity and really interested if you find anything.  Just checked out the post from Mayfly Media which will really help as well.

    Hi both,

    Some of the performance problems were fixed in the latest nightly for Umbraco Contour itself. Umbraco did suggest that they would be putting it in the next release of Contour, so I guess hold fire for that.

    It's going to be a while until I can load test it (particularly complicated implementation!) but I'll let you know if I come across any issues during development. In fact already have: http://our.umbraco.org/forum/umbraco-pro/contour/47303-Error-Installing-Contour?p=1#comment175781.
