We purchased Contour in December and I'm trying to install it onto our Development server.
I have the licence key but I'm not sure where I need to put it.
If I try to do it within
Umbraco, it wants me to use my umbraco.org profile to register Contour and I
don't think it's associated with the licence (especially as my umbraco.org profile is my personal email rather
than my work email address) - I didn't make the purchase, our Business Support
Officer did via an invoice rather than a credit card purchase.
The license checks your domain and IP. If these doesn't match, the application will fail. If the license file is not in the /Bin directory, the application will automaticly switch to trial mode.
You should signup to umbraco.com - that can be done using your work e-mail. If your work has a e-mail account for things like this then you can use that. Once signed up you can setup the domain etc., which will generate a license key that you can download and put in the /bin folder as Dennis mentions above.

Thanks

Hi Steve,
Take a look at this link: http://umbraco.com/help-and-support/customer-area/contour-support-and-download/common-issues.aspx

Hope this helps,
