Richtext data type disappears when UmbracoForms.lic added
Ok so this is a weird one. I've just purchased a licence of Contour and uploaded the UmbracoForms.lic file into the /bin/ directory. However, this then makes any richtext editor fields disappear in any document type that uses it in the back-office. As soon as I removed the .lic file from the /bin/ directory the editors come back.
The site is built in Umbraco 6.2.1 (Assembly version: 1.0.5261.28997) using Contour 3.0.21
Can anyone help me out here as to why this is happening? Clearly seems like a bug but never come across this before.
That's really odd! When you add the .lic file what does the console log then tell you when you're trying to go to a document type with an editor attached?
Have you checked the trace log in the /app_data/logs folder as well?
You know, it was just too odd to be anything of any substance so I deleted the .lic file and redownloaded it. Applied the newly downloaded file to /bin/ and this time and all is fine.
Can't really explain that one, but appreciate the reply Jan.

Hi Mike
Haha, yeah - Sometimes you just need to don't think to much about it and be happy that it works.
Happy to hear you managed to get it solved.
