Out of the box, there isn't a way to do this in Contour, but with some effort you could maybe get something to work. You'd probably need a hidden field for the parent message ID, and then set that somehow, so that when the comments are submitted, they'd have a way of referring to the parent comment.
You could also look at using something like Disqus that supports threaded comments and can be just dropped onto you pages as a script include.
