    Contour YSOD whenever we add or edit list items (dropdown, checkbox, radio button)

    We're using v7.1.6 with the latest version of Contour.  This error occurs in any browser.

    Whenever we add items or add a new list item with item values and then save the form, we receive a YSOD.  The form is then unviewable until the app pool is restarted.

    This appears to be an old issue (http://our.umbraco.org/forum/umbraco-pro/contour/12148-umbraco-v-452beta-breaks-Contour-) that is apparently related to multiple server environments.

    A few questions so we can hopefully resolve this on our own:
    1. How / where are the prevalues stored?  Are they in xml files on the file system?  Or are they saved in one of the Contour db tables.  
    2. If stored in the contour db, is this data cached in a static variable or something that isn't shared across servers?
