How to get download links from download strings in mails or entries
Hi.
When attaching a file in a contour form the download string will be visiable in the backend and in the mail that is sent. But only as a string that needs to be cut-and-pasted into the browser after the proper domain name.
Is it possible to get download links instead either in the backend or in the mail that is sent?
The current email sending workflow is very generic (it just list values as they are saved in an email and sends it off) So when you need a more specific email layout and data presented in a certain way, you would need to create your own email workflow. It is pretty simple todo, and a sample workflow is in the developer documentation file available here:

I'll see if I can get time to do an email workflow sample where you can shape the body with a xslt script, that would be quite neat and flexible.
