Manual upgrade of Umbraco Forms

As I happen to have som issues with the upgrading of Umbraco Forms through the backoffice, is there a way to manually upgrade/install new versions?

Also, is thera a blog or other way to follow when new releases are availible?

Actually the back-office upgrading just updated and the upgrade seems to be working! I Believe there was just now a new version released?

I would still like to know if there is a manual upgrade path.

Also, is there a changelog available? I'd like to know what's new/fixed before I update.

Backoffice Upgrade of forms is failing on Umbraco version 7.2.0 assembly: 1.0.5451.27165 with forms 4.0WIP.4.0.0-Build.84.

How to manually upgrade? The link in the docs just 404's...
