    Can't assign licence to domain

Tried contacting Sales earlier but no reply.

Bought a licence for UmbracoForms. Ok while developing on localhost. Now have deployed to test server, can't go back into licence and set the test and live domains up. So Forms won't send.

How do I operate my licence rights?

    Thanks,

    Craig

    Hi Craig

Forms will always work with full functionality locally - But you should be able to change the license on the Umbraco.com site if you login. Unless something is different with forms or something has changed on the umbraco.com site there should be a "my licenses" page somewhere where you can change it.

    All I see is:-

    License is already configured

This license is currently configured for the bindings:

    TypeBinding
    Developement domain Localhost
    Live Domain

All in a yellow box, nothing saying "Edit" or "Configure" and can't just type in boxes so stuck with an unusable licence at the moment :(

    Hi Craig

Ah yes you're correct - Just remembered that I have an old Contour license setup so just checked. Been a while since I've had a look at the interface. At my former job we were gold partners so we had full access and could change the bindings etc.

I guess you'll have to wait untill you get any feedback from your support enquiry then.

We have total 4 environment setup

    - Development (http://dev-domain/)
    - Staging (http://test.test.com/)
    - UAT (http://uat.uat.com/)
    - Production (http://www.domain.com)

Now, we have purchased this confidence license, which supports 3 domains, 1 for production & 2 for development.
Can anybody suggest, how to use this license in all these 4 environment without purchasing any additional things?

Also suggest, how and which domains we should be adding while configuring domains in Courier.

    Thanks,
    Dhiren

    Hey All -

License configuration is a one-time thing from an umbraco.com account. After that the tool doesn't allow edits so you'll just need to get in touch with Umbraco Customer Service (http://umbraco.com/help-and-support/customer-area/contour-support-download/contour-helpdesk/ or https://umbraco.zendesk.com/hc/en-us). We do our best to get back to you within 24-hours, sometimes it's a lot faster and sometimes it takes a little longer - we still think you're awesome.

You can help us quickly update your license if you'll provide us with some details:

    • umbraco.com account the owns the license
    • Current license Live hostname binding
    • Updated license Live hostname binding
    • Any dev/test/stage/uat/qa/etc... hostname bindings you'll need
    • The Order/Invoice number or date of purchase - we can re-configure a license up to one-year after purchase

With that in hand we can update the license for you and have it back to you with just a single contact. It's a manual process for us too, so the more information you give us the better the chance you'll get exactly what you need.
