It's possible to set the checkboxlist as mandatory, but I don´t think it is possible to say that you need to choose at least x options on the checkbox list. Perhaps this post https://our.umbraco.org/forum/umbraco-pro/contour/45716-Contour-validate-checkbox-2-items-checked, on how to ensure that is chosen two items, in the checkbox with Contour can give you some inspiration, to a solution for Umbraco Forms.
If you think it could be a nice featureto have in the future, then you can submit a feature request http://issues.umbraco.org/issues/CON, then the Umbraco HQ will have a look at it, and maybe implement it into future versions of Umbraco Forms.
Minimum selection of options in checkboxlist
Using Umbraco Forms, is it possible to ensure a user selects a minimum of 3 options in a checkboxlist?
Is this something Umbraco Forms can do out of the box or does this require custom coding?
