I am trying to enable conditions on a Recaptcha field which should be displayed only when the email field has an '@'. The conditions seem to work for textfield and textarea fields. The Recaptcha field still has style 'display : none' and is never displayed. Hence the form never gets submitted.

I think you have found a bug in the Umbraco Forms when you are working with conditions on a recaptcha field.
Could you please create a bug report here http://issues.umbraco.org/issues/CON so we have in the issue tracker.
