Plus, I tried to download from that link but the files are guids and I'm not sure what the real names shoud be. I get the feeling I'm not meant to install in that way.
I have no idea why this is so hard, as I have my credit card ready, but no way to get this thing.
I only received the download location (not the one above, however I won't post the link in case it's an old version) after I had purchased the Pro license, once the order has been processed it appeared in my profile containing a download link and a license file download.
I do know however that there was to be a demo version as there is with Contour downloadable prior to purchase, however I don't know the status of this.
courier is for content, consider making packages instead if you want to migrate xslt, templates and datatypes. test it first though, i don't know what happens if you overwrite stuff.
Umbraco Courier
Hi there
Anyone know where I can download Umbraco Courier from? I cannot find the actual download link anywhere.
thanks
Kris
You can get it as a package in your Umbraco installation.
Or here http://nightly.umbraco.org/

Hi there, I cannot see it in the package repo...
It should be in the Umbraco package repository and in the Umbraco PRO one too?
If not you can get it from the link above.
Rich
It doesn't appear in your screenshot either - just Contour. I will do a manual install, but just a bit surprised it's not there.
Sorry, I misread Courier for Contour.
I need a holiday...

I don't know to be honest.

I'm not sure where the free trial is, but if you have your credit card ready like you say. you should be able to sort yourself out through that link

Hi there, yeah I'm happy to pay, if I can see a way to get the software and play with the trial for a few minutes :-)
As I have version 4.0.3, I need to also ensure the latest Courier is compatible before purchase.
Hi there, I have read about what Courier does - but what doesn't it do?
e.g. does it transfer templates? if i create an XSLT file and macro, does it transfer both to a staging environment?
Does it transfer custom data types?
thanks
Kris
