    Staging and Production Server

    Courier

    Hi,

    Is it possible to have both a staging and production server on the same physical box?

    I'd like to use Courier but only have the one machine.  Is this possible?

    Hi DC,

    All of the licensing is domain based, so as long as you can assign different domain names to the different websites, then it should fine. 

    However, if you use nat or something similiar, then you may have problems.  If you can ping the staging server dns name from the server, then you should be fine.

    Also keep in mind that there are restrictions on what you can call the staging server - generally a subdomain of the domain works fine.
