We have a website that retrieves some information out of an Umbraco database for some pages. We retrieve the cmsDocuments that show up as published for each node we want to display. We've recently added Courier to the site, and now each node sometimes is referenced by multiple cmsDocument records that show as published.
It appears that Courier sets the 'newest' flag to indicate which of these should be used, but only the records that have been transferred using Courier have this flag set. This makes it impossible to make one query that hits the database. What I would like to do is select all the documents that are published and newest.
Is there a way I can go about doing this? Any advice on how I should work around this?
