    Access to log.txt is denied.

    Courier

    Server was unable to process request. ---> Access to the path '......\log.txt' is denied.

    Anyone shed any light on this error?  I have set the permissions on this file, even did an Everyone - Full control on the file but no joy with deploying datatypes to the live server.

    I'm getting the same thing.  It might have something to do with an update to umbraco or courier.

    I'm ran into the same error with Courier 2.5 (Build 52) and umbraco 4.7.1.

    Creating the log.txt file and giving each windows user full access to the file fixed the problem for me! :-)

    I was able to correct this by manually adding a log.txt file to the website root folder, then giving read/write permissions to IIS_Users.
