Courier unable to connect to remote server

My Courier 2 installation was working perfectly. It's set up between a staging server and a production server. However, our site went down on the production server, and we copied all of our code from the staging server to production without using Courier, in order to quickly get the site back online.

Since then, Courier produces the following error every time I try to run it:

I have tried uninstalling Courier on both servers and re-installing, but I still get the same error.

Any help that anyone can provide with this would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm, havn't seen this error before, and you have configured the courier.config properly? the right hostname and credentials setup?

Seems like a firewall or similiar is blocking the request made, as you don't even get a 404 or 500 error back

Thanks -- it turned out to be a firewall issue, and we were able to get Courier working again.
