We have just installed Courier using a license file generated for corpsite.com. In this setup, Courier will only work when logged into umbraco at www.corpsite.com/umbraco - logging in from any of the other domains will prevent the use of Courier.
Niels even promised us that we could have the additional hostnames added to the license file, but if the only issue in this scenario is that we can only use Courier from the first hostname, we can live with this and just remember to login from the corpsite.com hostname.
So my question is - will multiple hostnames in the same installation cause other problems than Courier only being available from the hostname in the license file?
Courier is assigned to a domain, but will work with any subdomains of that domain (as well as localhost). As long as you use those domains to connect to your installation there'll be no issues.
But we always say that if you need additional domains assigned to your license because of your setup we're happy to do that for free. We know of nothing worse than licensing that are limiting legit usage of our products.
Licensing regarding the use of Courier and multiple hostnames
Consider an umbraco installation running multiple sites. These could be:
www.corpsite.com
www.brand1.com
www.brand2.com
www.brand3.com
