    Synchronizing the Media Library

I have installed Courier but I have some concerns about synchronizing the Media Library.

As far as I can see, Media Items are transferred and updated on the target servere whenever a Content Node with a Media Item selected is transfered. So, using a Media Picker should ensure that all Media Items in use on the page being transferred are updated as well.

However.. in our website we have a number of custom macros that list items from the Media Library. The Macro is inserted in the Rich Text Editor, and a folder in the Media Library is selected using a Media Picker Macro Property. That means that all the child Media Items for that folder are "in use" for that particular page, but none of the Media Items are synchronized when transferring that page to the target site.

How do I ensure that all Media Items that might be used by custom built macros are synchronized when transferring content from the source umbraco site to the target umbraco site?

    Kind regards

Courier doesn't check for usage of the mediapicker in macros (but does check for content pickers as well as media in RTE content and media pickers on documents). I'll see if we can add support for mediapickers in macros too for 1.2.

An option to just fully synchronize the Media Library would really do the thing for us in this case. You see, if the Macro MediaPicker selects a folder and lists all child Media Items on the website, we need more than just the folder synchronized.

I know it may be a lot to ask for, that's why I was looking for a simple solution to just sync everything in the Media Library.

    Kind regards
