Am running on a old version of umbraco 4.11 where we have to manage more than 4500 nodes. The only issue we are facing is whenever updates are done, we need to synchronize both test environment and the live website. Very boring and long process.
On the install of this umbraco the company looking after the website did install an old version of courier which is still in trial mode. We are about to purchase the license and upgrade to the latest version of courier.
By upgrade, you mean to Courier for v7? If so, that's highly recommended. If it's still for v4, then get the latest Courier for v4 relase here https://our.umbraco.org/projects/umbraco-pro/umbraco-courier-2 It'll be the 2.7.8.35.v4 version in the archived files section.
By upgrade i meant for V4, meaning i need this version Courier_2.7.8.35.v4.zip. So i only have to over write all the files, Same as you would do with contour ?

Yes, exactly the same process.

Looks like Courier_2.7.8.35.v4 is for U7 or it is some version text error here https://our.umbraco.org/projects/umbraco-pro/umbraco-courier-2
Or do i need to use Courier2.7.32.7.3.39_hotfix.zip instead ?

Courier_2.7.8.35.v4 is the right one, it's just mis-labled in the archive list.

Paul, where do we paste all the files in my umbraco instance ?
When unzipping i dont have any folder in there but a bunch of files. Not sure where to copy them though.

Looks like there isn't a v4 hotfix in the archive. But you can find it on the nightly build server here http://nightly.umbraco.org/UmbracoCourier/2.7.8/nightly%20builds/Courier_2.7.8.35.hotfix.v4.zip
That one has the folders with the files to copy over to your site.
