What permissions does Courier require when publishing 3rd party datatypes?

    Hi,

I am using courier to deploy from uat to a live server. The standard fields get deployed OK. However, the U7 grid datatype that is on some templates to store lists of info does not get deployed. Do I have to permit certain permissions on certain folders to achieve this?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Damon,

Is it this package that you are refers to https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/u7-grid-data-type/

Then what you need to do is to write a Courier resolver, so Courier are able to transfer the data from one Umbraco installation to the other Umbraco installation.

    Try to see this https://our.umbraco.org/FileDownload?id=3326

Perhaps it could also be an idea to get in touch with the creator of this package to ask if the already have a Courier provider.

Let me know if you not are talking about the https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/u7-grid-data-type/ data type.

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis
