I’m not an Umbraco developer! I just need some advice.

I work for a charity and our website development maintenance is outsourced.

We take donations online through our site using a payment processing gateway.

However, we want to sell tickets to events through the site, but the developer is using the same checkout and ‘thank you’ templates for both donations and sales. This means that donors see ‘thank you for your donation’ messages even if they buy tickets.

The developer said using different templates for donations and sales would mean a few days’ worth of work.

That doesn’t sound right, does it?
