    Cannot index queue items, the index is currently locked - not on Azure

    Hi forum

    I´m experiencing a weird problem with my Umbraco 8.2 installation.

    I get a lot of errors regarding: Cannot index queue items, the index is currently locked

    It is not hostet on Azure however i have implemented the following in my webconfig:

    <add key="Umbraco.Core.LocalTempStorage" value="EnvironmentTemp" />
        <add key="Umbraco.Examine.LuceneDirectoryFactory" value="Examine.LuceneEngine.Directories.SyncTempEnvDirectoryFactory, Examine" />
    

    Removing them causes a lot of boot failure.

    The site consists of 2 domains

    Hi Jonas - I'm having the same issue on a site with two domains running on Umbraco 8.3. Did you manage to find a solution for this problem?

    Hi Jonas, we are also facing the same problem running two domains on same installation. We have tried to Upgrade to Umbraco version 8.5.4 (not running on Azure) but still error log periodically says "Cannot index queue items, the index is currently locked".

    Did you find a solution to the issue?

    Hey Jonas - did you manage to resolve this yet? Just wondering if an upgrade is the way to go. Currently the website is running 8.3.

    which the examine index locks . I am running on Azure thou and but have no longer any lock issues
