Never seen this problem before, but when I update a document type on my local machine I get this message:
"The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open"
If I try and navigate to another section of umbraco, I get the "you have not saved your changes message" but actually the changes are being saved.
After a little googling it seems that somehthing (mabye visual studio) is locking some file.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
Hi, did you ever solve this? I've just started seeing it.
I'm working on that project now... I can't remember I think in the end a few restarts and it just went away. - I did update to the latest version of umbraco though so maybe that fixed it.
