Preview not showing any content when using React

I am working with Umbraco V8 which my predecessor developed using uDev and React but when I preview a page, the content for the React app never shows. I don't see any errors - I've tried analysing both using Web Dev toolbar (Chrome/Firefox) and Fiddler.

Anyone had any success with preview working when using React please?
