Unable to log into backoffice after visual studio publish

I am unable to login into back office once i publish site from VS to local folder on computer and hosting on local IIS, site loads as normal but when i enter username and password i get login failed ? Chrome debug displays Post umbraco/authentication/PostLogin 500 (Internal Server Error)
This issue was my fault, i published the site to point to another database, not the one i was developing on locally. Once database's were in sync all good : )

Think we need a bit more info, if you click on the PostLogin 500 error, you most of the times see the 'real' error. Could you check that ?
Perhaps a permission issue? Is the URL that's being posted to absolute or relative? Is it the correct URL ?
