    Hi,

    Can you tell me what the maximum number of pages the Umbraco CMS can handle before the front end begins to perform poorly?

    We have an exiting site that has around 5,000 pages - the speed of the site is great.

    We have a new project that means we need to add in thousands of pages displaying a lot of information - on top of the existing site. It would mean dynamically creating up to 100,000 pages and then start to add content to each one.

    If we did this as a separate CMS, purely for the 100,000 pages (WITHOUT Templates) and then have a Web service from the main site to pull through the content would that be fine and keep the original main website speed?

    Hi Jonathan

    There is no way to calculate how many pages can handle Umbraco. It depends on server power and on the style of how the site was done. Is it an efficient application and well architected? There are Umbraco sites that handle millions pages in the web. But too many questions on how
