We have just moved an Umbraco v6 website and the media is no longer working. The structure is there in the backend and the properties tab shows the id etc so the DB is working (can also see the images in the cmsContentXml), but just no images showing and a loading gif.
The media folder is there with the images, just, it seems, no connection between the file structure and the DB.
Checked paths, if it used to be a virtual directory, different users, perms, dotnet versions. The content is working, as is the front end (minus the images).
It was some duff database cleanup code from another post on the Umbraco forums that caused the issues. I'll try and find it again and flag it so others don't have the same issue.

Maybe image processor doesn't work, can you check that site folder has all needed permissions?

We have lots of Umbraco sites from v4 to v8 running with the same permissions for the app pool.
