Page Macro Content disappears in the back office

So this has been an issue for us for some time now so I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this or something similar...

After placing a Partial View Macro on a page using a Macro Picker, all is good and things work fine... however...

We have discovered that 'sometimes' (and I really mean sometimes not all), when you go back to that page to maybe make an edit, we've noticed that the placed macro is no longer showing (in the Back Office).

If we don't do anything and simply jump to the Front End of the site, we can see that the expected macro content is displaying correctly, but it's just not showing us in the Back Office that there is a macro on that page.

If we leave the page alone, the Front End continues to work correctly, but if we click on Save & Publish in the Back Office, the macro content disappears from the Front End!

Obviously this is incredibly frustrating if you don't noticed there 'should' be a macro on the page and just go ahead and publish the amended page, or even if you do notice, you then have to try to remember the name of the macro that should be on the page so that you can add it back in again!

Has anyone else experience this kind of thing? And if so... did you manage to resolve it at all?

We are running 7.13.2 and have experience the same thing on both of our LIVE hosted environment as well as our local TEST server.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.
