The dll is in de bin folder and all needed configuration is in the web.config file.
Before uploading the new folders, I deleted the old ones. That also removed the security settings. After making the correct adjustments the media items started working again.

I have a problem with Umbraco 7.15.3. I've uploaded the site to the hosting environment and all of a sudden the media files stopped working.
None of the images are loading e.g.: http://www.aleen.be/media/1608/shutterstock_1041688987.jpg

Just delete the media folder of umbraco . Then if you have any backup of previous media folder , just restore it .
