    Migration from version 6 to 8

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started
    Umbraco 6

    is it possible to migrate complete project from version 6 to version 8 in umbraco ? please help me out

    Hi Vinayak

    I really depends on what is inside your project.

    It is possible to migrate the database, but you need to stop at least at 7.15 before going to v8.

    And you should also examine if you are using anything not supported in v7 or v8, like custom property editors etc. Also prepare for a lot of refactoring code to make it work in v8.

    There is an article here describing the approach to migrate content from v7 to v8.

    Hi Søren Kottal, Thank you for your reply i have another one doubt please help me In Umbraco Version 8 i need to know how to create multiple websites please refer me any tutorial link or youtube link i want to learn in depth.
