I try to post a question but it only allows me to post in Using Umbraco And Getting Started. I want to post under a different category (Extending Umbraco)
How can I do it?
People are clearly making posts in other forums, so it must be possible, but I can't figure it out either! I've made posts in the past with no issues, but it's been a while so I can't remember what I used to do.
I wouldn't worry about it. I believe the options are gradually being removed as people often tag things incorrectly so it's more of a legacy thing now. Unless you really go hunting there isn't an easy way to filter questions by type they all show in the main forum list :-)

I've the same situation.

Even if I go directly to e.g. https://our.umbraco.com/forum/umbraco-forms/ and click the 'Ask a question' button there, it still posts in Getting Started.
Did anyone ever figure this out? I just tried to make a new post in Extending Umbraco and, like my previous one, it ended up in Getting Started.
