    issue when doing upgrade from umbraco 7.6.13 to 7.14

    Hi, I am trying to upgrade from umbraco 7.6.13 to 7.14 . And I got this error in the browser:

     The database failed to upgrade. ERROR: The database configuration failed with the following message: The object 'umbracoUser_FK_umbracoUser_umbracoUserType_id' is dependent on column 'userType'. ALTER TABLE DROP COLUMN userType failed because one or more objects access this column. Please check log file for additional information (can be found in '/App_Data/Logs/UmbracoTraceLog.txt').

    Please let me know what I can do for this . Thanks,

    Try upgrading to 7.7 first, there are db changes to introduce UserGroups that need to be applied incrementally.

    Check https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/getting-started/setup/upgrading/version-specific for details, under the v7.7 section
