I've added a drop-down datatype control to a document type. When I select an option from the dropdown it's saves the value to the page as a string i.e. the label rather than the id. Is there a way to change this so it saves the Id instead.

I don't quite understand why it would save the name rather than the Id as if and when you need to rename the option in the data type you'll have to re-publish all the pages that used that data-type.

Am I missing something here?
