Yes i know there is a way arround it, with the "umbracoInternalRedirectId" and the "umbracoRedirect", but it would be a nice feature if one could avoid building a url in the first place. like for a 'settings' node or if you want to have an 'external link' node some where in the tree.
Why does a node with no template assigned get a url ?
Is it possible to prevent a 'settings' node in the thee from getting a url / link assigned ?
Hi Benjamin,
The easiest way to fix is to use properties like "umbracoInternalRedirectId" or "umbracoRedirect" for making a redirect from this node.
Another way to solve the issue is to assign a template with a redirect to the root or any other node.
But, I totally agree with you that there is no sense in URL for the node without a template. Maybe it would be a nice idea for PR.
Thanks,
Alex
