Hi I am currently looking for an eCommerceplugin that would handle both subscriptions and one time purchases inside of the structure of umbraco. I have looked at both (Vender/TeaCommerce and Ucommerce). However out of the box both are outside of the budget for the current site.
My question is is there a hosting provider that we could host our site with that offers a Ucommerce plugin as apart of the hosting fee monthly or is there a option for eCommerce inside of Umbraco that would better suit the budget for our project.
Merchello still shows up if you search eCommerce and Umbraco but has not been updated for a long time. At one point it was being championed and at conferences etc but has just faded away and has not been supported fully for later Umbraco 7's and not at all for 8.
There is the Vendr for 8 but I have not tried that yet.
uCommerce has been updated for 8 but I honestly would not touch this with a barge pole. While the Umbraco version works better then other solutions (The Kentico one is terrible) it is still pretty bad for the cost and the cost you have to pay to just get support for them is crazy.
Carlos has probably hit the two you should look at I think.

Hi Matthew,
Marc from uSkinned here. We have integrated Snipcart with our Umbraco 7 theme Merch.

We have plans to create an Umbraco 8 version of an eCommerce integration in the near future.
If you are keen to use Umbraco 8, Snipcart is very easy to integrate. They also have a useful guide for doing this with Umbraco:

Cheers,
Marc
Marc Thank you for the information on that we are currently looking into using nopcommerce as well but the snipcart looks great. Thanks so much!
We use NopCommerce, it is pretty good, but if you want a site with Umbraco for both. Vendr just came out too by Matt Brailsford.
