Backend error (richtext missing) on Internet Explorer ("Closest method not supported")
I have a site based on Umbraco 8.6. All works fine, I use Chrome on content editing and all it's ok. But if I use Internet Explorer (version 11, I don't want to use it, but the customer not uses Chrome or Firefox, only IE...sigh), the richtext disappears.
The console js reveal this error:
TypeError: Object doesn't support 'closest' property or method

This appens in debug mode on the test server and in production, with the site online (debug mode off).

Any solution? Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks.
Hi,
Well since Umbraco 8 it doesn't officially support internet explorer anymore. https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/getting-started/setup/requirements/
