Umbraco Forms on Perplex Steroids .csv file extension

Is there any possible way we can add .csv as a upload type to the list of file-extensions that are allowed to upload?

Hi! Have you had a look within umbracoSettings.config which is stored in the Config folder of the site. There is a section called <disallowedUploadFiles> make sure .csv isnt within there.

That's just an initial thought what might be causing the issue.

First a disclaimer: I have never tried this package, so no idea if the following works or not!

If you check out their documentation: https://our.umbraco.com/FileDownload?id=16882

Then it mentions under the file upload restrictions:

If you need to update the allowed filetypes you can take a look at the configuration file (App_Plugins/PerplexUmbracoForms/PerplexUmbracoForms.config).

So I would start there, and see if you can't just add your file type to a list of some sort..

    Hi Public Trustee,

the fantastic Jesper had a good answer; check the docs because they are great :)

If you check page 11 you'll see a reference to the file /App_Plugins/PerplexUmbracoForms/PerplexUmbracoForms.config and:

    enter image description here

    Yet another victory for documentation!

Have a great weekend and if you need any additional help (or the documentation is incorrect :S), please let me know!

    Jeffrey
