Umbraco forms API

Is there a way I can Save data to an Umbraco Form?

I have a custom form that does certain things and I want to save some data from it to an Umbraco Form so its available in the Forms Dashboard to export.

Yes you can. It's a bit finicky, but this thread should help:

I'm sure I've seen another example, but I can't find it at the moment.
