    How do i install Umbraco 8 with SQL Servers

    Hi Guys im new to Umbraco 8,

    Can anyone help me with how to install Umbraco 8 using SQL Servers?

    Hi Nathan,

    This is quite easy. I am assuming you have already installed Umbraco 8?

    If so then....

    After you have installed Umbraco and run the project for the first time you ill be given some options asking for your desired username and password. You probably didn't notice before but there is a button 'Customize'.

    Once you click on this there will be a place to change the database you want to use. Select SQL Server then enter your details in. It's as easy as that.

    I am not too sure if a blank database needs to be created beforehand or if it is smart enough to automatically generate the database. Personally I always create the blank database beforehand.
