Has anyone implemented filtering of the Create menu within Umbraco?
I thought I'd ask this before implementing this myself.
Has anyone with a large number of doctypes implemented filtering within the create menu in the CMS? Preferably v8.
We've currently 49 different panels types we can add as nodes in the CMS.
I can split some if these into 4-5 categories, though some are specific, some are also general/shared. I'm considering radio buttons with these categories or may a text field and a simple text contains filter.
Unfortunately it's not possible to change the doctypes to limit the available options.

Not done it yet (only based on user groups) but you could just swap out the dialog with a custom one that has a simple filter
