In our Umbraco installation, we have 11 home nodes. I would like to create a group for users that would only allow those users to access two of those content nodes so that they don't even see the others when logging in. It's not that these users can't be trusted, but it would make their work easier if I could allow them to focus solely on the nodes they care about.
the latest series > 7.7 allows you to create User Groups and set multiple 'start nodes' and/or granular permissions on whether Users can Edit/Browse edit specific Content items.
If you create a User Group for each of the 11 home nodes, then you'll have good control over who can access which combination of which home nodes by the membeship of each User Group.
Can I limit a user to only a few home nodes?
Hi!

Thanks for any advice!

Hi Jeremy
Which version of Umbraco 7 are you using?
the latest series > 7.7 allows you to create User Groups and set multiple 'start nodes' and/or granular permissions on whether Users can Edit/Browse edit specific Content items.
