I can't seem to find the information (or the terms to search for), but for a short time, I seemed to have had page edit status icons, where you could see an icon showing a page was not published yet when viewing the tree. I have done one upgrade so far, so maybe it was removed (on 8.6.3 currently).
I like the idea, but it's not a deal breaker I suppose :)
I'm on 8.18.7 now, and I see a dimmed out node if not published, and a green plus sign if a saved version exists. But I don't see an icon if a page has a scheduled publish set.
There's no indication, other than going into the schedule publish button process, to know that someone made a change at some point and it's scheduled to publish at a later time. (This also goes along with the fact that I don't see a notification that a person has edited the page and saved it).
