Within the SItecore CMS theres a functionality called cloning where an item/page can be cloned. And the clone will copy any changes made to the original, but you can also make change fields on the clone. This is very useful for a website with multiple markets/sections which require lots of similar but slightly changed pages.
Is there functionality, or a plugin for Umbraco thats similar to this? Or does anyone have any tips for building this sort of system?
We also have a method for using a shared content repository where you essentially have a series of nodes outside of the main content that's selected by default on a parent node of the actual content, then you can override it on each individual node below.
That's super useful for locations where a lot of the marketing copy is boilerplate but then you want unique content for testimonials, address, contact info, etc.
You can use content templates: https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/getting-started/backoffice/Content-Templates/worktime.com
