Cursor Postion When Switching Between Rich Editor and Source Editor

In Umbraco 7 when editing HTML and switching to the "View Source Code" option the cursor position would be set in the source code view where it was in the rich editor. However, it seems that when we moved to version 8 this no longer happens. Is there a way to get this behavior back? A lot of our editors have asked about this, and when editing large content it would be very convenient to have the cursor at the correct location when switching between the source view and rich editor views.

I suspect that the page is refreshed upon clicking the insert button and hence the grid disappears. We suggest you render the https://testmyspeed.onl/ button with type as “Button” as shown below in your page to resolve the issue.

There is no insert button being clicked. I'm referring to editing a content page in the back office. The page has rich editors for editing HTML content. In Umbraco 7 when editing that content and clicking the View Source Code button the cursor in the source code would be at the same element where the person was editing in the rich editor. Since upgrading to Umbraco 8 this is no longer the case. Now, no matter where the cursor is in the rich editor when you click View Source Code the cursor is at the very top of the raw HTML code.
