When building content structures for clients, there are specific page types that should only exist one time.
You can of course create the page, and then remove it afterwards from the permissions and it will work just fine.
But if the client then accidently deletes the page, it's not possible to restore it, because it's no longer allowed in it's original position.
Am I the only one with this problem, or have you guys solved in another way ?
Would it be possible to extend the permissions UI, so you can somehow restrict a page to only exist once ?
I've fixed this in the past with an event on delete / unpublish to stop users deleting this primary pages.
There used to be a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + U?) that caused all sorts of problems!
