    GDPR and Cookie acceptance popup

    Hi

    I am getting conflicting opinions regarding GDPR and whether a cookie pop up is actually needed. We are a subscriber only (90%), website and need to know if this is a requirement to gather analytics about what groups of subscribers download what materials

    Following on from this, is there any packages or advice on how to implement one, if it is required?

    Yes it is required because your description of what you want would not be classed as necessary so you need cookie consent.

    There are lots of fairly simple cookie consent plugins about, they are generally all JavaScript based so fairly easy to add to umbraco
