    I cannot connect to the database locally

    Hi all,

    Good day!

    I'm just new to Umbraco.

    I have a problem accessing my website locally, it was working fine on my PC in the office but now I started working from home, I got this error maybe I just miss something or what.

    connectionString on Web.config

    <add name="umbracoDbDSN" connectionString="server=DESKTOP-MBKHNQA;database=db_name;user id=sa;password=samplepassword" providerName="system.data.sqlclient" />

    MSSMS error message

    Could anyone help me?

    Hi Marky,

    Maybe it is some permission issue for DB. looks like sa user is not active.
